Be it with the ball or bat, Sneh Rana is always on the lookout to contribute on the field. A busy cricketer, Rana loves challenges, and she has often delivered under pressure. Followers of women’s cricket will remember her gritty, unbeaten 80-run knock off 154 balls that helped India draw the Test against Bristol. With Taniya Bhatia, she put on a solid, unbroken stand of 104 runs for the 9th wicket, denying the home team a win on their soil. It is also the 2nd highest 9th-wicket partnership in the history of women’s Tests. Similarly, it was Rana who starred with the ball against Pakistan in the Commonwealth Games when she took 2 for 15 in her four overs as India won the encounter by 8 wickets. She bowled 11 dot balls in her spell of 4 overs and conceded a lone boundary.
