The bowlers set the tone in the first match, bowling West Indies out for 44, and the batters chased the target down in just 4.2 overs with nine wickets in hand. They carried forward the momentum in their second match, bowling out hosts Malaysia for just 31, with spinner Vaishnavi Sharma picking up five wickets, including a hat-trick, and then chasing down the target in 2.5 overs, achieving a 10-wicket victory.
India then made it three in a row and sailed into the Super Six as they secured a comfortable 60-run win over Sri Lanka. Gongadi Trisha top-scored with 49(44) as India posted 118/9. A collective bowling performance then restricted Sri Lanka to 58/9.
Vaishnavi Sharma shone again in the first match of the Super Six stage with impressive figures of 3/15 as India restricted Bangladesh to 64/8. Gongadi Trisha's brisk 40(31) helped India chase down the target in 7.1 overs with 8 wickets to spare as India cruised into the semis.
They made it five wins in a row with a commanding 150-run win over Scotland in their second Super Six match. Gongadi Trisha hit a magnificent century as India maintained their perfect record in the tournament
Trisha became the first batter to hit a century at an ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, requiring just 53 balls to bring up three figures in Kuala Lumpur before finishing on 110 not out.

She formed a commanding partnership with G Kamalini, who also brought up a half-century, to put India in complete control of the contest.
They set Scotland 209 to win, with Sanika Chalke adding a quickfire 29 as India put up the highest batting total of the tournament so far.
Scotland started well in pursuit through Pippa Kelly, but ultimately fell victim to India’s left-arm spinners, with Aayushi Shukla and Vaishanvi Sharma combining for seven wickets, ending with impressive figures of four for eight and three for five, respectively.
They reduced Scotland to 42 for seven from 33 for one, before Trisha then made an impact with the ball by taking three wickets to bowl Scotland all out for 58.
