Although they conceded the first innings lead to Andhra, Hyderabad topped the group table at the end of the league stage by taking their points tally to 31. With more number of wins than Haryana, they finish at the No 1 spot in Group C while the Mohit Sharma-led team are placed at No 2.
With a six-wicket win against Goa, Himachal finished the season with a win. Sachin Baby (250*) helped Kerala to a first innings lead while Chhattisgarh too ended their debut season with a first innings lead against Jammu & Kashmir.

Chasing 219 runs to win, Hyderabad resumed their inning on 13 for one. The S Badrinath –led team continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and were 56 for five with only 40 overs bowled on the last day when the match ended in a draw.
While Andhra picked three points from the first innings lead, Hyderabad took their points tally to 31 with the only point they received. Hyderabad, who were already ahead of Andhra in the points table qualified for the knockout phase.

Himachal chased down 139 runs on the last day to finish the ongoing Ranji Trophy season with a win. The Rishi Dhawan-led team bowled Goa out for 286 in the second innings earlier on the fourth day. Darshan Misal scored his second century of the match as Goa strove to post a target for Himachal. G Singh claimed four wickets while Bipul Sharma and M Dagar picked two wickets each as they bowled Goa out to set up the game.
Although Rituraj Singh then claimed Paras Chopra early to leave HP 25 for two, Paras Dogra anchored Himachal to victory with a unbeaten 55-run knock.

Sachin Baby posted 250 not out while A Chandran scored an unbeaten century as they took Kerala to a first innings lead after resuming the innings on 271 for five in the morning. In an unbroken 257-run stand, the pair helped Kerala to a 518 for five until declaring the innings. The match ended in a draw when Rohan Prem declared the innings late in the day after piling on runs.

After resuming their second innings on 101 for one, Amandeep Khare powered Chhattisgarh to 243 for three with a unbeaten century until declaring the innings. The young batsman’s 117-run knock helped the team set J & K a stiff target on the last day.
Chasing the 393-run target, J & K were 243 for seven when the match ended in a draw. While Shubham Khajuria made 72, Parvez Rasool scored 66 as they looked to keep the innings in the fray. S Ruikar and A Mandal picked three wickets apiece to keep the lineup in check until the match was called off. With one point from the game, J & K displaced Tripura from No 8 while Chhattisgarh finished at No 9 on the basis of NRR and Tripura at the bottom of the table.
