KL Rahul ruled out of Bangladesh Test

KL Rahul has been ruled out of India’s lone Test in Bangladesh due to dengue. BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur confirmed that no replacement will be named for the batsman as Team India prepare for their tour in Kolkata.

Rahul made his Test debut at the MCG last year and scored his maiden Test century in the next Test, in Sydney. After returning from Australia the Karnataka batsman showed rich vein of form in the Ranji Trophy with 838 runs in five matches, including a triple-century. His 188 against Uttar Pradesh in the final helped the defending champions retain their Ranji Trophy title.
