We collect and why, how we use it, and how to review and update it.A month after taking a hat-trick against Tamil Nadu in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Abhimanyu Mithun on Friday scalped another hat-trick, this time in a T20, during the Karnataka’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy semi-final clash against Haryana at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.
The right-arm medium pacer scalped as many as five wickets in his final over as Karnataka did not let Haryana cross the 200-run mark.
Mithun, who conceded just two runs in the final over, dismissed Himanshu Rana, Rahul Tewatia and Sumit Kumar on the first three deliveries of the over to claim a hat-trick. He then picked up a wicket of Amit Mishra to complete four wickets on four successive balls.
He capped off the final over, dismissing Jayant Yadav on the last ball of the Haryana innings.
Mithun’s figures at the end of the innings read 5/39.
