Uttar Pradesh vs Railways in Lucknow: While opener Shivam Chaudhary held the innings together a determined 135 ball 44, Akshdeep Nath’s 160-ball 75 and Rinku Singh’s quick 42 helped UP garner a lead against Railways.
Deepak Bansal dealt the first blow to leave UP on ten for one after resuming on nine without loss. While Himanshu Asnora was trapped lbw, Umang Sharma was removed 56 runs later by Ashish Yadav. Nine runs later Suresh Raina was dismissed by Avinash Yadav for six. Nath, who then came to the crease formed valuable partnerships with Chaudhary, Eklavya Dwivedi and Rinku to help UP to a first innings lead.
Even as he continued to lose partners, Nath worked to maintain the upper-hand. With UP on 229 he was sent back by Avinash. The lower-order then added useful runs until being bowled out. Anureet Singh and Avinash claimed three wickets apiece as they bowled UP out for 250.
Ankit Rajpoot then dealt a double blow to leave Railways on 10 for two but missed out on a hat-trick. And with Praveen Kumar claiming Saurabh Wakaskar in the following over the visitors were 10 for three in the seventh over. Arindam Gosh and Vidyadhar Kamath took the team to Stumps at 27 for three.

Haryana vs Saurashtra in Lahli: The Saurashtra pacers made the most of the conditions in Lahili to enforce the follow-on on hosts Haryana. Jaydev Unadkat claimed the top three – N Saini, S Rohilla and C Bishnoi to leave the home team on 28 for three in the first innings. Shaurya Sanandia then wrecked the middle-order to finish with four for 44 while Kushang Patel claimed three for 21 and wrapped up Haryana’s first innings for 107.
After asking the hosts to follow-on, Sanandia claimed Saini with three runs on the board while Unadkat followed up with the wicket of Rohilla in the next. Haryana’s woes continued as the Saurashtra bowlers continued to claim wickets at regular intervals. While wickets continued to crumble, Bishnoi held up one end and was batting on 53 when play ended for the day.
Haryana were left tottering on 93 for six and were trailing by 78 runs at Stumps on Day 2.

Team Rajasthan vs J & K in Jaipur: After resuming their innings on 249 for four, Team Rajasthan were bowled out for 330 on the second day. Samiullah Beigh accounted for TM Ul Haq without a run added to the score-line in the first over of the day. 15 runs later he dismissed the centurion Robin Bist. Mohammed Mudhasir and Parvez Rasool then took two wickets each to bowl Team Rajasthan out.
In reply, Ahmad Omar Banday and Shubham Khajuria got J & K off to a good start with a 109-run opening stand until TM Ul Haq claimed the latter.
Banday saw J & K through to the end of day’s play with Pranav Gupta. The visitors were 150 for one and trailing by 180 runs when play ended for the day.

Kerala vs Jharkhand in Trivandrum: After claiming six wickets, Jalaj Saxena returned to help Kerala take a first innings lead against Jharkhand. Not out on 47 (off 129) at Stumps on Day 2, he had taken the hosts to 250 for eight in reply to Jharkhand’s 202 all out.
Although Sunny Gupta (6/94) struck at regular intervals, a half-century by middle-order bat, Mohammed Azharudeen followed by Saxena’s patient knock helped Kerala seize a 48-run lead until the end of day’s play.
Earlier, Jharkhand were bowled out for an addition of two runs to their overnight score after resuming on 200 for nine in the morning.

Madhya Pradesh vs Baroda in Indore: Centurions Shubham Sharma and Ankit Sharma propelled MP to a mammoth 551 for eight until the hosts declared their innings.
Resuming his innings on 88, Shubham continued to glean runs off the Baroda attack and was ably complemented by Ankit as they pair added 197 runs for the sixth wicket. However, four runs short of a double ton Shubham was sent back by Swapnil Singh ending the batsman’s diligent 394-ball knock for 196. 40 runs later the bowler accounted for Ankit (104 off 200) to leave MP on 505 for seven. Puneet Datey then carried the team forward until skipper Devendra Bundela declared the innings late in the last session.
With Datey and Ishwar Pandey each picking a wicket, Baroda were 36 for two at Stumps. Kedar Devdhar was batting with P Shah when play ended for the day.

Tamil Nadu vs Andhra in Chennai: After being left on 64 for five by the R Ashwin-led attack, B Sumnath (72* off 193) helped Andhra to a 55-run lead at the end of Day 2 against Tamil Nadu.
L Vignesh’s double blow left Andhra on 12 for two after resuming their innings on 8/0 on the second morning. Vignesh K then accounted for Ricky Bhui who was looking to forge a partnership with KS Bharat to rebuild the innings and left the visitors on 40 for three. A bit later Ashwin followed up with the wickets of Y Venugopal Rao and Bharat to push Andhra on the back-foot.
However, Sumnath joined forces with Ashiwn Hebbar to revive the innings. The pair added 116 runs until Hebber was sent back by Vignesh K.
Sumanth continued to rally on and took Andhra to Stumps at 231 for seven with Shoaib Mohammed Khan.
ScorecardGroup D Services vs Bengal in New Delhi: After resuming their innings on 341 for three, Bengal continued to pile on runs until Manoj Tiwary declared the innings at 552 for nine late in the second session. Overnight batsman, Sudip Chatterjee departed for 115 in the morning after adding just one run to his score-line while Wriddhiman Saha went on to post 55. While the rest of the lineup made useful contributions, Aamir Gani (51) and Ashok Dinda (55*) also posted half-centuries to help boost the total.
Services were 103 for one at Stumps and trailing by 449 runs. While Mohammed Shami claimed the sole wicket to fall, that of Nakul Verma, Ravi Chauhan retired hurt on 42. N K Singh was batting on 44 with Amit Pachhara when play ended for the day.

Goa vs Chhattisgarh in Porvorim: Goa were trailing by 430 runs with all wickets in tact in reply to Chhattisgarh’s 458 all out in the first innings at Stumps on the second day.
Earlier, after resuming on 189 for five, Manoj Singh helped Chhattisgarh to a respectable total with a 322-ball 125 run knock. After resuming his innings on 32 in the morning with Mohammed Kaif, the duo took their side to 216 until the captain was sent back by Darshan Misal. Manoj then found an able partner in Jatin Saxena and the duo added 132 runs to the total until Amit Yadav claimed the latter. Manoj’s then carried the innings forward with SS Ruikar (57 off 102).
74 runs later Misal dealt a double blow as he accounted for Manoj and Pankaj Rao to leave the visitors on 422 for nine. Amit Yadav then removed Ruikar to end the innings.
In reply Goa were 28 without loss at the end of day’s play.

Himachal vs Punjab in Dharamsala: Batsman continued to dominate the proceedings in Dharamsala on the second successive day. Prashant Chopra, who was on song as he etched his name into the history on Day 1, completed his maiden triple-hundred as he helped Himachal to a advantageous position.
After resuming the innings on 459 for two, Himachal lost Paras Dogra in the first over of the day. Sandeep Sharma claimed the overnight batsman and followed up with the wicket of N Gangta to leave HP on 467 for four. However, Chopra found a partner in Ankush Bains in taking the innings forward. The pair built a 135-run partnership until Pargat Singh caught the opener for 338 of his own bowling.
Bains made 80 while Rishi Dhawan made 49 as HP continued to pile on runs. With the team on 729 for eight the hosts declared their innings later in the day.
At stumps Punjab were 110 for one with Jiwanjot Singh on 34 and Uday Kaul on 2.
