Rana Dutta claimed six wickets to help Tripura enforce a follow on against Himachal. Mohit Sharma-led attack put Haryana in the driver’s seat in their match against Chhattisgarh.
After Iqbal Abdullah’s marathon innings, Kerala set for a first innings lead against Hyderabad while Aamir Aziz bowled J&K to a first innings lead against Andhra with his maiden five-for. The match tipped in Goa’s favour as Services are reeling on 272 for seven in the first innings in reply to the opposition’s 606-run total with a day left in the match.

Kerala declared their innings on 517 for nine for the addition of 11 runs to their overnight score of 506 for nine. Iqbal Abdullah was unbeaten on 159 when they declared their innings. Jalaj Saxena, Sandeep Warrier and K Monish claimed two wickets each as they left Hyderabad on 231 for seven at stumps in pursuit of a first innings lead.

Bowled out for 289 in the second innings after resuming on 121 for three on the third morning, Haryana set Chhattisgarh a 279-run target. The Mohit Sharma-led attack then left the Mohd. Kaif –led team reeling on 50 for six. Then ably complemented by his attack, the captain claimed three for ten to help set up a win. While S Pahal claimed opener S Gupta, Mohit claimed R Tiwari and A Singh off successive balls to leave the opposition on 19 for three. A few overs later, Harshal Patel accounted for the Chhattisgarh captain while the pacer followed up with one more and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed one to back the opposition into a corner.
Earlier, while Rajat Paliwal scored a half-century as Haryana looked to set the opposition a competitive target, pacer Pankaj Rao claimed his maiden five-for for Chhattisgarh.

After HP resumed their first innings on 50 for one, MB Murasingh claimed N Gangta upfront to leave the side on 74 for two. Ankush Bains, however continued to hold fort and had taken the side past the three-figure mark with Paras Dogra when Roy ended the stand by claiming the latter. Rana Dutta then followed up with the wicket of Bains a while later. But R Bist and Rishi Dhawan looked to stabilize the innings and had put together an 82-run stand until Dutta struck again. The pacer claimed a hattrick to leave HP struggling on 281 for seven. Wrecking the lineup he finished with six wickets as Tripura bowled HP out for 311 and enforced a follow on.
At stumps, HP were 19 for one in the second innings and need 219 runs to win while Tripura need nine wickets on the last day to pull off a victory.

Shadab Jakati and F Alemao claimed three wickets each to leave Services on 267 for seven after resuming on 39 for one. As the match heads for a draw with a day left in the game, Goa are in a strong position to secure a first innings lead on the final day.

After resuming their innings on 72 for two, Andhra were pushed on the backfoot by the loss of two wickets early in the day. With just four runs added to the overnight total, captain GH Vihari was run out by his opposite number while Bhargav Bhatt was sent back Aamir Aziz. The left-arm spinner also accounted for M Sriram a while later to leave Andhra on 90 for five. While J&K toiled to create breakthroughs DB Ravi Teja strove to hold the Andhra innings together with AG Pradeep.
Parvez Rasool then accounted for Pradeep to end the blossoming stand for 66. But Teja continued to rally on until Aziz accounted for him to end the seventh wicket partnership with A Hebber for 94 runs. The left-arm spinner registered his maiden five-for as he claimed the Andhra middle-order to help his team to a first innings lead.
Having bowled Andhra out for 255 and secure a first innings lead, J&K were 31 for two at stumps with Bhargav Bhatt claiming both the wickets.
