After wickets tumbled on the second day in Guwahati in the ongoing match between Hyderabad and HP, batsmen were amongst runs on the third day. While they have conceded the first innings lead, the Rishi Dhawan-led team put up a better performance in their second outing.
In Mumbai, the match between Haryana and Andhra is precariously poised as the Mohit Sharma-led team need 233 to win with seven wickets in hand.
Captain Rohan Prem has set up the game in his team’s favour with an unbeaten century to set Chhattisgarh a formidable target.
Tripura have secured a first innings lead against Goa while centuries by Shubham Khajuria and Ian Dev Singh have kept Jammu & Kashmir in the game as they seek a first innings lead against Services.

Resuming the Hyderabad innings on 99 for seven, B Anirudh (64) helped the team a 90 runs first innings lead before being bowled out earlier in the day. However, after the bowler-dominated Day 2, batsmen put up a solid performance on the penultimate day of the match. After a forgetful outing in the first innings, the Himachal lineup helped the team to a 142-run lead with four wickets in hand until the end of day’s play.
Half-centuries by Paras Dogra and Robin Bist complemented with useful contributions from the other batsmen took the team to 232 for six until stumps.
When play ended for the day, Bist was batting on 50 with M Dagar on four.

The Mohit Sharma-led attack bowled Andhra out for 220 in the second innings after resuming on 95 for three. Besides captain GH Vihari’s half-century, D Siva Kumar chipped in with 42 runs lower down the order as the Haryana captain and Y Chahal picked three wickets each while Harshal Patel took two to bowl the opposition out.
Chasing the 371-run target, Haryana were 138 for three at stumps. While S Rohilla was batting on 75 with Chahal on 12 when play ended for the day.

Having bowled Goa out for 269 earlier in the day to seize a first innings lead, Tripura added 226 runs for the loss of seven wickets to extend the lead to 240 runs until the end of day’s play.
After scoring 47 runs, Shadab Jakati returned to claim a five-for as the Tripura lineup worked to add to their lead. R Dey was batting on 56 with Gurinder Singh on 41 when play ended for the day.

As the teams battle to secure a first innings lead, Jammu and Kashmir were 379 for six until stumps on Day 3. Overnight batsmen Shubham Khajuria (111) and ID Singh (120) scored centuries after resuming their innings on 34 and 30 respectively to keep their team in the reckoning. When play ended for the day, P Rasool was batting on 41 with Ram Dayal on 14.

Having claimed the last Chhattisgarh wicket in the morning to bowl them out for 187 after resuming on 179 for nine Kerala scored 307 in the second innings to set the opposition a stiff target. With the first innings lead secured, skipper Rohan Prem scored unbeaten 123 before declaring the innings on 307 for two and set up the match for his side.
Kerala set the Mohd Kaif-led team a 328-run target while declaring the innings later in the day. At stumps Chhattisgarh were 11 without loss and facing a mountainous ask with a day left in the game.
