We collect and why, how we use it, and how to review and update it.Mumbai, Nov 4: Saurashtra's Ravindra Jadeja hammered his first triple-hundred in the Ranji Trophy against Orissa at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on what was a prolific day for the batsmen. Saurashtra scored a mammoth 545 with Jadeja stealing the limelight with a magnificent innings of 314 runs.
Jadeja, who has been in good form since being called up to the national side against England, presented a strong case for selection for the upcoming Test series against the visiting West Indies with a well-compiled triple ton. While the Orissa bowlers were clobbered by Saurashtra, BS Mohanty claimed four wickets for 86 runs. Orissa were at 51 for no loss, trailing by 494 runs, at stumps.

Day 2 Highlights:
Punjab vs Uttar Pradesh: Mandeep Singh remained unbeaten on 175 as he ran out of partners at the other end. The lower-order, comprising of three ducks, failed to reach double-digit scores. UP’s RP Singh finished with a five-wicket haul while Bhuvneshvar Kumar helped wrap up the Punjab innings for 350 runs with a four-for.

Haryana vs Delhi: Delhi's Pradeep Sangwan claimed a five-for to bundle out Haryana for 293. Delhi responded with 214 for three with Milind Kumar and Rajat Bhatia hitting unbeaten half-centuries.

Mumbai vs. Railways: Rohit Sharma scored 175 to propel Mumbai to 483. Railways' Shreyas Khanolkar registered a five-for including the prized wicket of Sharma. However, Railways were struggling at 66 for three at the end of day's play.

Himachal Pradesh vs. Tripura: Paras Dogra was yet another batsman to hit a double-century while Timir Chanda claimed eight wickets for Tripura to end Himachal Pradesh's first innings on 531.

Vidarbha vs Kerala: RS Paradkar (157*) and Shalabh Srivastava (104) took Vidarbha to 514 for the loss of seven wickets in the first innings at Jamtha. Kerala's P Prasanth claimed five wickets against Vidarbha including that of Vidarbha's centurion Shalabh Srivastava.
