We collect and why, how we use it, and how to review and update it.Mumbai, Nov 13: Mumbai continued to exert their superiority over Bengal on day three of their Ranji tie at the Eden Gardens. The Mumbai bowlers turned in a combative display to skittle out the home side for 296. It was a team effort for the reigning champions as Aavishkar Salvi (2/51), Ajit Agarkar (2/56), Dhawal Kulkarni (3/92) and Ramesh Powar (2/63) all contributed to Bengal’s downfall. Writam Porel (71) and Saurasish Lahiri (66) were the only shining lights for the home side but even their brave resistance couldn’t save Bengal from being bowled out under 300 runs.
Meanwhile Delhi ended day three on top after having dismissed Tamil Nadu for 208 and notched up a further 122 runs in their second innings. Vikas Mishra (4/49) was the main strike option for Delhi while Pawan Suyal also took three wickets to bolster Delhi’s charge. Shikhar Dhawan displayed some fluent strokeplay to score 76* in the second innings, but the home side hit back with R. Ashwin taking two Delhi scalps.
In some early finishes, Baroda won by an innings and 33 runs against Haryana while M. Pradesh won by an innings and 156 runs against Tripura.
