We collect and why, how we use it, and how to review and update it.Margao, Oct 24: The third and final ODI between India and Australia was called off due to overnight rain which rendered the outfield wet and unplayable at Margao.
In spite of the tireless work done by the ground staff the outfield couldn’t be dried sufficiently. The Nehru Stadium at Margao witnessed incessant rain in the days leading up to the scheduled match, and despite a sunny Sunday, the outfield wasn’t dry enough for even a ball to be bowled.
India have won the three-match ODI series courtesy their five-wicket win over the Aussies in the 2nd ODI at Vizag. Untimely rain has played a major role in the series- the first ODI at Kochi was also abandoned due to persistent rain.
India take on New Zealand in three Tests and five ODIs, with the first Test starting on November 4th at Ahmedabad.
