Injured Broad to miss India T20Is

Injured Broad to miss India T20Is

Nagpur, Dec 13: England’s Twenty20 captain Stuart Broad will miss the two-match T20I series in India due to an injury to his left heel. Broad will fly back home during the ongoing Nagpur Test.

Uncapped 22-year-old Middlesex fast bowler James Harris has been named as Broad’s replacement and Eoin Morgan will lead the team in his absence.

Steven Finn, who, along with Broad, is sitting out the fourth Test, will also return home with a strained disk in his back.

England will play two T20Is, on Dec 20 and 22 in Pune and Mumbai respectively.
