We collect and why, how we use it, and how to review and update it.With a five-wicket win over Bangladesh, India women continued their winning streak against the visitors. Leading from the front, captain Harmanpreet Kaur helped attain the 195-run target with an unbeaten 63-run knock.
Earlier, upon opting to bat first, Bangladesh were restricted to 194 for nine by the Kaur-led side. Despite losing their openers early and a lower-order collapse, Kaur’s opposite number, Salma Khatun, made 75 not-out to help set a sizeable target for the hosts. Shubhlakshmi Sharma and N Niranjana claimed the top order, while Swagatika Rath and Ekta Bisht ran through the middle and lower orders. Sharma claimed two, while Niranjana and Rath took a wicket each; Bisht finished with three scalps.
Chasing the target, India lost opener Punam Raut without a run on the board. But the rest of the batters made useful contributions to help take the team across the line. Anagha Deshpande scored 47 and was involved in a crucial 83-run partnership with the India skipper. This stand helped take the match away from the visitors.
