Delhi coasted to a 75-run win over Assam in the 2012-13 Vijay Hazare Trophy final to lift the coveted domestic one-day title. A brilliant century by opener Unmukt Chand helped Delhi set up the game at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. Chasing 291, Assam lost wickets at regular intervals and even a valiant 87 by Dheeraj Jadhav could not salvage their innings as they failed to string together sizeable partnerships.
