Standing tall at 6 feet and 2 inches, Abhimnayu Mithun was fittingly an athlete in his early days as a sportsman. The 22-year-old fast-bowler made his ODI debut against South Africa in February 2010 and later the same year was given the Test cap for India’s tour to Sri Lanka. He has four five-wicket hauls and one ten-wicket haul against his name in first-class cricket. Mithun came into the RCB side during IPL 2009 when coach Ray Jennings spotted his sheer pace during trials.
One of the more successful pacers in the domestic circuit, he is a key component of the Karantaka state side.
